When AEP realized that there was an opportunity to come alongside and support our families and our community as they experienced hardships during the Covid-19 pandemic, we knew we could increase the ripple effect of empowering our girls and boys to bring an end to poverty by educating and empowering their families too.

With only a 5% acceptance rate, few students make it through the arduous application process for a coveted spot at the prestigious African Leadership Academy (ALA) located in South Africa. AEP is excited to announce that Spencer will attend ALA this Fall.

For many parents, having someone pay for their children’s school fees is a miracle, especially with the hardships many of them face due to the Covid-19 pandemic. AEP interviews several parents who have students that are sponsored by the Nyali Scholarship Fund. Today we bring you their story.
